We had lamb curry and rice here, and it instantly transported us back home — the taste was so authentic, just like true Bangladeshi cooking. The spices were perfectly balanced, the lamb was tender, and every bite reminded us of the warmth and comfort of traditional family meals. What made the experience even better was the kindness of the staff. They didn’t just serve food, they served it with genuine care and a smile, which made us feel so welcomed. In a busy city, finding a place that gives you both authentic flavors and heartfelt hospitality is rare, and this place truly does that. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience real Bangladeshi taste with a touch of love

Lovely food very nice I go all the time **edit** On second thoughts and after visiting 3 or 4 times the food and service isn't very good. Everything is cold and the price for curry went from 7.50 to 11.50 also when you ask for something simple it takes 10 minutes for example a sauce. I got wings and chips once and the wings were Luke warm very dark brown and absolutely dripping with oil. Only positive I've portion size.

Amin Restaurant, nestled in the heart of London’s Leather Lane, offers a genuine taste of Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine that caters to both traditionalists and adventurous food lovers. This cozy spot stands out with its warm, inviting ambiance and attentive service, making every visit feel personal and welcoming.

The menu is a flavorful journey, spotlighting dishes like the Lamb Biryani served with fresh salad—a highlight praised for its tender meat, perfectly seasoned rice, and generous portions. This dish captures the true essence of authentic home-cooked biryani, rich in aroma and layered with spices that tease the palate. Alongside, the Biryani Rice itself serves as a comforting staple that complements the main dishes flawlessly.

Exploring further, the Thai Green Curry adds a unique twist to the lineup, offering a vibrant and fragrant alternative characterized by rich coconut milk and fresh herbs. Their Chicken Teriyaki, though less common in Indian restaurants, showcases Amin’s versatility and commitment to diverse, quality dishes. However, like any culinary experience, opinions vary—some diners found certain dishes, such as the buttered chicken, leaning heavily on coconut flavors, while others highlight the exceptional taste and freshness across most menu items.

What truly elevates Amin Restaurant is the heartfelt hospitality. Staff members are noted for their friendly and helpful approach, going beyond service to create a warm dining atmosphere. This genuine care, combined with authentic flavors, transports guests back to the roots of traditional Bangladeshi home cooking, making it a rare find in a bustling city.

Though occasional critiques mention issues like inconsistent food temperature and rising prices, the majority appreciate the generous portion sizes and the overall value. Amin remains a beloved choice for those seeking a reliable, flavorful meal with an authentic touch and a welcoming environment.
